In various countries, especially in Türkiye and Indonesia, the government is always faced with various problems, especially related to democracy. One of the problems of democracy in Türkiye is related to the social structure. In Turkish society, where traditional social characteristics are dominant, individual life is not a pleasant lifestyle and social characteristics do not allow it. Although the ongoing modernization efforts throughout the history of the Republic of Türkiye have united the society with modern life to some extent, when viewed as a whole, it is seen that the society still develops attitudes and behaviors suitable for the characteristics of Turkish culture. In addition, Indonesian society also has its own characteristics, and the way in which Indonesia implements democracy also refers to the situation of a multi-ethnic country, so every policy made by the government takes great care not to cause political turmoil in the society. In this study, the researcher places more emphasis on the theories and concepts of democracy related to Türkiye and Indonesia. Several theories related to democracy are used to support this research in order to provide a clear picture of democracy in Türkiye and Indonesia.
2023-05-17T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 JASSPhttps://jassp.lppm.unila.ac.id/index.php/jassp/article/view/98Legal Implications Of Positive Fictive Application After The Law Of Job Creation Law Is Declared Conditionally Unconstitutional2023-04-09T08:44:29+00:00Febri Sianiparfebrisianip@gmail.comHari Prasetiyohari.prasetiyo2023@gmail.com
Article 175 of Law Number 11 of 2020 changes some of the government administration clauses that have been regulated in the regulation of governmental administration. These changes are related to positive verdicts of fictitious and requests as stipulated in Article 53 of the Law of Creating of Job which amends the clauses of Article 53 of the Government Administration Law. The time limit for establishing a positive fictitious decision has changed from 10 days to 5 days and there is no mechanism for an adjuration to the court of the state administrative to obtain a decision to accept the adjuration. The form of research used is normative juridical with qualitative analysis methods. The results of the study show that fictitious requests are considered legally granted in Article 53 paragraph (4) of Law of Creating of Job without a decision by a Court causing legal uncertainty and because the Law of Creating of Job is declared conditionally unconstitutional, it still refers to the Law Government Administration Act
2023-05-22T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 JASSPhttps://jassp.lppm.unila.ac.id/index.php/jassp/article/view/107Multipolar International System And The Place Of Indonesia: Prospect And Opportunities2023-04-09T09:52:24+00:00Stanislav Vladimirov Mladenovstanislav.mladenov@yandex.ruMohamad Fikri Sulthanmo-sultan@stud.kpfu.ru
In human history, the factor of international relations and what system they will develop has always been present. For the last three hundred years, the dynamics in this aspect have been significant until the 90s, which opened the possibility for the first time that the world would be under the control of a hegemonic idea. However, the political practice of the 21st century shows that globalization is facing problems and some countries are looking for an alternative path. The traditions and values resulting from them unite different peoples, nations, and countries in the idea of civilizational cooperation. This study aims to explain the multipolar international system and how civilizations are divided in Indonesia according to Huntington's theory of the Clash of Civilizations and as well as to find out the prospects and opportunities for Indonesia as a country with one of the largest economies in the world. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study explain Indonesia's position amid various civilizations which can lead to conflicts in the future.
2023-05-22T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 JASSPhttps://jassp.lppm.unila.ac.id/index.php/jassp/article/view/109The Determining Factors of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Inflows: Empirical Studies from the Southeast Asian Countries2023-04-09T17:01:16+00:00Muhamad IksanU18087022@ncku.edu.twTetsu Konishit-konishi@fwu.ac.jp
The purpose of the study estimates the possible causal relation between direct foreign investment with intertwined political and economic factors ranging from the investment climate reform initiative, tax policy conducted by the government, size of the government, and political institution. The sample of this study consists of ten countries in the Southeast Asia region. Our study utilizes time series data of 11 years from 2010 to 2020, to empirically tested three proposed hypotheses by using panel data regression analysis. Our statistical results show that determinants of direct foreign investment can be uncovered through economic rather than political factors. This study provides a negative relationship between the political institution factor (proxied by the veto player) and FDI inflow. On the contrary, the EODB score does not affect FDI inflow by controlling covariates. Moreover, our study could not provide robust evidence that an effective average tax rate could affect the FDI inflow which is contrary to literature expectation. However, our causal inference may suggest that previous FDI inflow is the best predictor for the FDI inflow.
2023-05-22T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 JASSPhttps://jassp.lppm.unila.ac.id/index.php/jassp/article/view/106Jealousy in Men and Women in Couples Infidelity through Online Media2023-05-16T13:39:04+00:00Wayan Karang Yanawayanlamo@gmail.comEsti Melindaestimelinda1002@gmail.com
Every human being in this world has a jealous attitude that has been felt by both men and women. However, due to developments in the last century, our world has faced various environmental problems and dangers like climate change. So, countries carry out national and international efforts to minimize and prevent these hazards. One of the countries that researches these problems is the United States. The fact that the United States, the most powerful actor in the international system, has not shown sufficient interest in environmental and climate change issues and that US domestic policy has largely had an impact on these issues, contributed to preparing this study. The paper used qualitative research design by emphasizing literature study and a descriptive method to measure the trend in perceiving climate change from the perspective of the US policy. So, in this study, the US Environmental Policy will be discussed in the context of the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement before Biden's Administration which resulted in Washington cannot take a clear stance on environmental and climate issues due to dilemmas in leadership change and domestic politics.
2023-05-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 JASSPhttps://jassp.lppm.unila.ac.id/index.php/jassp/article/view/110Al-Qur'an Perspective on the Concept of Islamicpreneurship in Economic Growth2023-05-28T10:33:08+00:00Fatimatuz zahrozfatimatuz023@gmail.comJamal Fakhrijamal.fakhri2023@gmail.com
Islamicpreneurship has been inherent in the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This has a very big influence on human activities, especially Muslims. Therefore, Muslims must master the practice of Islamic entrepreneurship that has been taught by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Islamicpreneurship is an entrepreneurial science with a form of activity to lead, establish, take risks, manage, and become a business owner according to Islamic teachings. This research is qualitative library research, which aims to collect data and information contained in literature, such as books, manuscripts, journals, previous research, and documents. The methods and techniques of data collection in this study are to collect literature related to the research and analyzed the theory used. In this case, the author seeks to describe and analyze the al-Qur'an Perspective on the Concept of Islamicpreneurship in Economic Growth. The application of this concept has also been carried out since ancient times at the time of the prophet, as an example of the noblest Apostle, Muhammad SAW by implementing Islamic entrepreneurship based on the nature of Siddiq, Amanah, tabligh, and fathonah. The practice of Islamicpreneurship is inseparable from the values of Islamic rules intending to worship only to get the pleasure of Allah SWT. Islamicpreneurship provides direction for business practices that must pay attention to norms, ethics, and all forms of Islamic religious values by holding fast to faith, being able to innovate and create, and aiming to provide benefits. In other words, the concept of Islamicpreneurship will significantly affect economic growth.
2023-05-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 JASSPhttps://jassp.lppm.unila.ac.id/index.php/jassp/article/view/111Chinese and Javanese Traders in the Frame of Social Relations 2023-05-30T15:31:22+00:00Durroh Nihayah Hamhijdurrohnihayah@gmail.com
The purpose of this study is to explain the social relations of Chinese and Javanese ethnic traders in traditional markets. The research was conducted in Kangkung Market, Bumi Waras District, Bandar Lampung City. Social relations between Chinese and Javanese ethnic traders in the Kangkung market are reflected in several activities carried out, namely social relations in the market and outside the market. Relations outside the market still show the social distance that is more influenced by ethnicity, but relations in the market seem closer. Service to customers does not care about ethnic differences. In general, Javanese and Chinese can coexist well, both benefitting from each other socially and economically. However, ethnic differences between the two still exist and develop in the community which is enough to affect the social relations of the two ethnicities in daily life.
2023-05-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 JASSP
